CIFF POPCORN MAN

Television commercial campaign for the Calgary International Film Festival 2020

“Popcorn Man” was created to be whacky and memorable. Inspired by many Japanese “creature” based advertisements, Popcorn Man inserts himself in to your movie watching experience to tell you about CIFF’s online and in-theatre showtimes! We created 2x 15s ads, and 2x 30s ads. Two for at-home audiences, and two for in-cinema.

SVR WARS stars a full cast of lawyers from the SVR firm, and is the fifth of five narrative featurettes created for the annual CIFF curator screening.

This video was created to announce Future Grownup's latest artist collaboration, Kyle Desnoyers. Filmed completely vertical (with the camera sideways), this video was shot to work with the instagram layout, taking up as much of your phone's screen as possible.

This promo was conceptualized, shot, and edited with a mobile experience in mind

All the footage captured in this video was shot vertically (Meaning the camera was mounted sideways). This maximizes the amount of pixels taken up on your smartphone, making for a stunning mobile viewing experience.
